Fred's accounting career began in the restaurant industry with the Outback Steakhouse corporate office in Tampa; he also garnered valuable experience as the Controller/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Pappas Restaurant. He honed his public accounting skills during his time with Moore Stephens CPA's where he specialized in Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reporting, Feasibility Studies, General Accounting, Payroll and Tax, Auditing and Market Studies.

In 2001 Fred Daus started his accounting firm, Fredrick James, LLC with one goal in mind: to create an accounting firm that becomes an active partner and valuable asset to clients. With the belief that his company's success depends on his client's success, Fred works diligently to ensure his client's needs are met and their financial needs are treated as if they were his own.
