Why do I need to use QuickBooks for my Accounting needs?

QuickBooks is the #1 selling accounting software package for small and medium businesses. This means you will be guaranteed software that will be around for a long time, offering full support and upgrades that will grow with you as your business needs change.

What areas do you service?

Typically QuickBooks consulting projects tend to be located within a 30 mile radius of our office in Clearwater including St. Petersburg, Clearwater Beach, Largo, Dunedin, Palm Harbor, Safety Harbor in Pinellas County as well as Hillsboro County; however, remote access projects can be located anywhere.

Do you come to my office or do I come to yours?

Either one. This all depends on what your needs are. There is a travel fee of $100 per hour.

How much time can I expect a session to last?

Generally speaking one-on-one ProAdvisor sessions take about 2 or 3 hours. Out of town sessions can run about 4 to-7 hours depending on the travel time.

Where should I buy the software?

A benefit of being QuickBooks ProAdvisors is that we can pass on a 15-20% savings directly to you. As an Intuit partner we are given better pricing than if you were to buy it direct.

Do you do tax returns, bookkeeping, and payroll?

Yes! We are a full service accounting firm with tax expertise. Our Clearwater, Florida tax accountants can help you with all financial aspects of your business. Having your Payroll, Accounting, Bookkeeping and Tax preparation under one roof avoids the hassle of getting data from one service provider to another, reduces mistakes and lowers your overall expenses.

What if QuickBooks wasn't set up correctly – can you help?

Absolutely. If your accounts are set up incorrectly it can lead to misreporting of income and expenses that could end up costing you a great deal. We are happy to review your current accounts setup and provide you with a quote for addressing any issues that are discovered.

What should I get together before our first training?

• Bank Statements that have not been reconciled with QuickBooks (through the program)
• A trial balance from your tax preparer of your last tax return
• A detailed depreciation schedule from your tax preparer

How do you train on site?

If the project is large, we will break the project down into manageable pieces. To keep the project cost effective, we can setup each area correctly to get the data flowing correctly. At that point we train someone in your office to act as the bookkeeper who will manage the data entry. After entering a couple of examples and making sure everyone is comfortable with their "homework", we will plan the next step.
